Colin Quinney Appointed Sales & Marketing Director at Roke Manor Research

Roke Manor Research, the leading technology research and development business owned by Siemens, has announced the appointment of Colin Quinney as its new Sales and Marketing director.

Colin Quinney, 41, will be responsible for directing Roke Manor Research's strategic Sales and Marketing process and identifying opportunities for its electronic sensor, communications and networking products and services in key markets such as defence and security, telecommunications and transport, both in the UK and internationally. He will also play an instrumental role in strengthening Roke Manor Research's position as a business consultancy and technical solutions provider.

2004-colin-quinney.tnColin Quinney brings over 20 years' sales and marketing expertise to Roke Manor Research, working for leading companies such as Crown Paints, Natwest and Deutsche Bank. In his most recent position as Head of Marketing at Wood Mackenzie based in Edinburgh, he successfully repositioned the business from a research publisher to a leading consultant for the energy, pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries, achieving revenues of over £35m.
