Roke Manor Research Limited, a Siemens company, will be promoting the latest version of their product, Epsilon™ at Farnborough Airshow, SBAC stand, July 14-20th. Epsilon™ is a software package that predicts the Radar Cross Section (RCS) of electrically large targets directly from a computer model. It is highly versatile tool which provides fast and accurate RCS predictions in a wide range of applications. For example, manufacturers of aircraft, ships, land vehicles, and buildings use Epsilon™ to determine the radar signatures of their designs. Features and benefits of this new release are detailed below:
In addition to conventional radar cross section predictions, Epsilon™ can also used to model the RCS of buildings and structures. Recently this has included the impact of wind turbines and wind farms on air traffic radar. Epsilon™ is available under licence, subject to export control, or for use during stealth consultancy, counter stealth studies and any aspect of radar cross section technology or radar imaging. |
