Roke Manor Research is wholly owned by Siemens, however, we also work for many commercial organisations, government departments, and defence agencies. Roke Manor Research became a Siemens Company following the take-over of Plessey by Siemens and GEC in 1990. In 1991, GEC sold its 50% shareholding and the company became wholly owned by Siemens.
