We require experienced engineers with a good honours degree, MSc, or PhD in electronic engineering, systems engineering, physics, computer science, mathematics or related subjects.
A variety of roles and career paths exist where you can combine your deep technology expertise with real market insight to provide practical solutions to business issues.
Whatever your role you will be involved in a range of projects which will vary in complexity, value, and duration. For some, your technical/commercial expertise may only be required for a short period in the project life-cycle, in others you'll be involved in preparing the bid and winning the contract right through to delivery of equipment and field trials. At Roke we have it all.
We expect the best from you, and in return we offer a wide ranging list of benefits when you join us. In addition to your salary, we'll usually top it up each Christmas with our Business Performance Related Bonus scheme, and depending upon your job, you may also be eligible for Performance Related Pay. You will also be able to invest in the company by taking advantage of our Employee Share Scheme. Senior positions may also benefit from our enhanced bonuses.
We'll look after you too. We'll give you 25 days leave a year - and with our flexi-leave arrangements you can add up to 8 more days. You'll also be eligible to join the Chemring pension scheme, and get heavily discounted private medical insurance (you'll only pay the tax on it).
It'll be challenging as well. As an engineer you'll get to work on a wide variety of projects - some may just require your expertise for a few days or weeks, in others you'll be involved in from start to finish. If you're not already chartered then we can help you progress towards getting that, as well as providing other personnel development and training opportunities. There will be opportunities to travel too.
