| Approach |
With expertise in radar and image processing we were able to rapidly narrow down the range of available technologies applicable to this problem. Controlled trials were conducted to assess the performance of our Miniature Radar Altimeter under representative landing conditions and a demonstration vision based system rapidly prototyped to evaluate its performance. These activities have clearly demonstrated potential solutions to this problem.
