Visual Target Analysis |
|
Visual Target Analysis is the first moving target indicator system which immediately tracks and maps vehicle and personnel movement within real time UAV surveillance footage. Visual Target Analysis (VTA) provides support to an operator when reviewing UAV video data, both in real time and offline scenarios. The features aid understanding of activity and provide a toolset to help filter and classify ground movement. Visual Target Analysis Brochure Long surveillance missions can cause fatigue and fixation when an operator is monitoring a video feed from a UAV in real-time. VTA aids an operator by:
Motion VisualisationThe motion tracks can be overlaid onto the mosaic image, improving situational awareness and placing current events within a wider context. An example of this is allowing changes in behaviour to be identified by comparing the current flow of vehicles and personnel with historical data. Click here for an example. Video ReplayVTA also aids forensic analysis and mission debriefings. After a major event an operator is now able to filter and replay recorded tracks through a simple 'click-to-replay' interface. Video that is replayed is stabilised and contrast enhanced to increase clarity. Video SearchRecorded tracks are automatically tagged with metadata such as location, speed and direction. Operators can filter or search for data of interest using these tags to speed up the review process and provide actionable intelligence. VTA is being offered as a shared library for Windows and Linux. It is suitable for use with visible band and infrared video imagery. A clearly defined Application Programming Interface (API) allows this new functionality to be integrated in a swift and cost effective manner.
