Your training will benefit us as much as it does you. The IET accredited Graduate Development Programme (GDP) is a structured two year schedule that provides practical experience, like taking responsibility for specific projects, whilst providing you with the necessary business and technical skills.

Our GDP will also expose you to many areas of Siemens with modules held at different sites throughout the UK.

Naturally promotion depends on merit and performance, but if you have the determination to succeed, Roke Manor Research can give you the chance to play a major part in one of the most exciting and challenging R&D organisations in the world.

You will also be able to invest in the company by taking advantage of our Employee Share Scheme. Senior positions may also benefit from our car scheme and enhanced bonuses.

We'll look after you too. We'll give you 25 days leave a year - and with our flexi-leave arrangements you can add up to 8 more days. You'll also be eligible to join the Siemens pension scheme.

It'll be challenging as well - you'll be given real responsibility for real business problems. As an engineer you'll get to work on a wide variety of projects - some may just require your expertise for a few days or weeks, in others you'll be involved in from start to finish. If you're not already chartered then we can help you progress towards getting that, as well as providing other personnel development and training opportunities. There are always opportunities to travel too, with some of our employees being seconded to Germany and China.
