MILOR - Miniature Integrated eLORAN Receiver

Pre-release information for the world's smallest GPS / INS / eLoran receiver and antenna OEM module.

MILOR will offer OEM manufacturers using GPS modules protection against GPS outages which will differentiate your products from your competitors.

Primarily MILOR will provide position fixes using GPS, however, thanks to the unique miniaturised eLORAN antenna/receiver it is capable of providing back up to the built-in GPS receiver during outages. This gives MILOR protection against GPS jamming, poor GPS coverage and outages, and thus a continuous assured location and timing solution.

How does it work?

MILOR's miniature antennas provide equivalent performance to standard marine solutions, but using Roke's technology they are over a hundred times smaller. The built-in GPS module provides standard capability, but when GPS is denied, restricted or lost, such as underground car parks or inside buildings, the advanced eLORAN receiver takes over. The incorporated Inertial Navigation Sensor (INS) aids the tracking capability by fusing short term changes in the INS with eLORAN’s long term stability.
