Solution architecting is the thought process behind an entire solution. Just as an architect is involved in the planning, designing and oversight of a building's construction, a solution architect is involved in the planning, designing and oversight of a solutions' development.
Solution architects, therefore, provide a crucial umbrella role in visualising the development and assisting in the realisation of solutions which require large scale builds.
Delivering the solution
Our knowledge is used to identify the technologies, people, and processes required to deliver a solution which can be maintained through its lifetime. Whether the solution be a new shopping centre, or a Moon lander, the role of the solution architect remains the same.
