The Queen's Awards for Enterprise and Innovation 2011 LogoRESOLVE is now in service with the UK Ministry of Defence (MoD) and is doing well in the global export market. RESOLVE provides users with rapid target identification and geolocation through the use of a dedicated Management Information System (MIS) and Geospatial Information System (GIS). The system can be configured to meet specific operational requirements as part of the MoD's ongoing commitment to enhancing ISTAR support for UK Forces.

The Roke team will be presented with the award by the Lord Lieutenant of Hampshire Dame Mary Fagan DCVO, who is The Queen's representative in the county.

Dave Smith, Managing Director of Roke Manor Research, said:

"Roke has been at the forefront of electronic warfare development since the 1950s and our continuous programme of investment has created a world-beating range of EW products. We are extremely proud that our commitment to innovation has been recognised with such a prestigious award.

"RESOLVE is a step change in the technology that troops use, as no other electronic warfare system provides such a high level of direction-finding capability for soldiers on patrol. Winning this award for RESOLVE is recognition at the highest level of what our team has achieved."
