Roke Veterans Network
Our Roke Veterans Network plays a central role in this mission. It offers a welcoming community for veterans, raising awareness of key events like Armed Forces Day and Remembrance within the business. Each year, we host a Service Leaver’s Day at our head office, inviting soon-to-be veterans to explore career opportunities, gain insights into civilian life, and receive practical support including CV writing and career advice.
Through initiatives like this, we help veterans identify roles that match their skills and interests, ensuring a smooth transition into civilian employment.
By embracing the skills, resilience, and leadership that veterans offer, the Roke Veterans Network helps build a diverse, inclusive workforce ready to tackle the challenges of science and engineering innovation.

“Our greatest strength lies in our people—their diverse backgrounds, perspectives, and unwavering dedication. We trust their talent and expertise to deliver projects, products, and capabilities that protect what matters most, regardless of their level of experience.”
